I've known this ^^ fact for a long time. The media reports what they want to report or what will get them the
best reviews. Well recently I came across this story and it really stuck out to me. If you just watch the video
you will totally understand my point.
Here's the story: An old lady parked her car, took the lid off her coffee and spilled it on her lap. It absorbed in
her sweatsuit which held it against her skin and gave her several burns. She wanted McDonalds to lower the temp
of their coffee and to cover her medical bills. They said they would give her $800 (not nearly enough to cover
medical bills) and not turn down their coffee. So she decided to sue them.
Media Reported: Lady was driving around and spilled coffee in her lap, Suing McDonalds for 2 Million
