Why Adoption?

Well I'm currently procrastinating on my homework and came up with this thought. I know that adoption is a sensitive subject so I'm warning you: This is my blog, read at your own risk! With that said, here is my question: Why do people choose to place their child for adoption? Is it because they accidentally got pregnant and aren't ready to be a parent? Is it because they're afraid of the responsibility? Is it because they don't have a great support system of family and friends? I'm not really sure why.. I don't mean to offend anybody but I'm curious.. And I'm sure not a lot of people if anybody reads this blog. But if you do happen to read it sometime in the next 50 years maybe you have some input.. I would love to hear it! :) Ok well back to homework.... Good night everyone! :)

Hello Again.

So much has changed in the past year. I'll try to update more often... even if nobody reads this.. Well, I am currently on my 2nd Quarter of Early Childhood Essentials through Bellingham Technical College. This quarter is a lot different than the last one because we are now getting graded on how we respond to other people's posts. I mean I can understand the teacher wanting us to talk to eachother but we shouldn't get graded on it.. I did talk to the other girl in my class last quarter.. It just bothers me that we are going to be graded on what we say to people because I am such a perfectionist, especially with school! So I'm not sure what to say to people because I can't correct them even though I know that I'm right. One of the requirements for taking the class is that you need to be working with children and 1 of the girls isn't even doing that!! You need to try out the activities on the children but when she's not even around children then how is she going to do it?? School has always been hard for me because of my sleep disorder. I survived school by being smart enough to keep up with most of my homework. I am thankful for that! But school has always been difficult for me to deal with so I was really nervous about starting up school again! But I am pretty proud of myself for being off all of my medications for however many months and still functioning like a normal human being, still being motivated and keeping up on my schoolwork, and still keeping my job! :)
