My Whatcom County Summer To Do List

Now this is my personal list. You can take done ideas or share some ideas or both. You can use some or all. Some are kid friendly and some are not. These are just things I thought would be fun to accomplish this summer. I may not get to all of them, but it'll sure be fun to try... I have 52 in this list so far. I might go back and edit to add things as it gets closer to summer..

Also, when it is summer, I'll post pictures and updates as I'm doing these things and cross them off the list! Or maybe check them off the list, I don't know how to cross things out online. I won't necessarily do them in this order, but this is how I thought of them.

Anyway, here are my 52+ Whatcom County Summer To Do's! :)

1. Go to an Outdoor movie
(I've been wanting to go for a few years and it hasn't worked out, so this year, it's happening!)
2. Take Carter to an outdoor movie

( In the summer, they have animals there. Cheyenne would love it!)

( I took my grandparents on a picnic 2 years ago and they loved it!!)
11. Visit Boulevard Park
( Great place to walk around, look at the water, look at the boats, etc..)
12. Walk Around and Explore Downtown Bellingham
(Believe it or not, I don't go down there a lot. The 1-way streets confuse me and I avoid it. But one day I want to just explore what's down there.)
13. Go out for drinks
14. Go out for breakfast
(This requires 2 things I don't do often:   Waking up early and Eating out.)
15. Have dinner with an old friend
16. Try TCBY
(I've tried Menchie's but I have to compare the two!)

(I do this anyway, but it's nice to put it on paper... Or at least type it up. :)  ]
26. Go to Carter's baseball game
27. Do crafts with Cheyenne
28. Have play dates with kids I babysit
29. Take Cheyenne to a fun playground

43. Take Cheyenne to Great Harvest Bread Co
(She loves bread. I think she would love that field trip!)
44. Go camping
(Not the In-A-Trailer-With-A-TV kind of camping. I'm talking, in a tent, uncomfortable mattress kind camping. S'mores and banana boats included- of course! Possibly even orange egg, muffin and juice breakfast. You know what I'm talking about Boy Scouts!)
45. Go to the Lynden fair
(We used to do this every year. Scratch that, I did. But now it's all teenagers and stuff. I look at the booths and that's about it. But it's worth it to say you've gone..)

49. Be Successful in Something
(This may be my new job or just learning some new skill or even just being a good friend. Everyone is successful at something. I want to find my thing to be successful at and harness the greatness into something good.)
50. Learn Something New
( They say you learn something new every day so this should be an easy one. But I want to learn something worth learning. Not something like why they put the green at the bottom of the stoplights. Actually, that would be interesting to know... Hmm..)
51. Start a new tradition
(Ok, this may be harder than it sounds but it's worth a try!)
52. Take kids to the touch tank
(Kids love that place!)
53. Call my grandma at least twice a week
(I used to call her all the time but now I'm a lot busier these days and it's hard. But she truly does appreciate each call. And I may not be able to call her for long so I have to enjoy what I have left with her!)
